As long as you're good with whatever you pay, then that's a good price, no?
I was joking You'll get numbers all over the place since every market is different.

Five, welcome to the forum. As our friend says you will get a bunch of answers that may not help you much at all. And, in the process send you in several different directions with info. that is incorrect for your situation. Prices do depend a lot on your location, the supply and demand of F-150's in that location. For ex. a member here living in Colorado purchased an STX, and the price in his area of the country is much higher than in my part of the country because the STX trim is scarce there.

Also, the price of tax, tag, title, and dealer fees may be higher in your area than others making it look like your paying more than usual. I look at it this way. If both parties walk away happy, then it is a good deal.

Good luck on the deal. And, thank you for your service to our great country.

Thank you, it was my pleasure. After the latest budget bill, I'm wondering if I retired too soon!

The OP was the one with the question, I was just giving advice that all regions are different (I did sell cars for a brief time after I retired). Many factors like if the dealer is the only show in town, or like in Boise here where there's 5 in a 50 mile radius that can call for some heavy competition, especially since trucks are the biggest seller.

I didn't want the OP to think that I was just throwing a number out there from my recent purchase since the subject was compared to 1/4 mile times and gas mileage (I honestly didn't know it was viewed that way).

Ask for more off or go to another dealer. I got the 13 XLT 302a Eco super crew, 4x4 6.5 bed pretty much loaded for that price.

Woodie, I live in Canada and I bought a XLT XTR package which is different up here. I got the 301 package as well. The STR package is the chrome package with 18" rims and Running boards. I got the better remote start, Tonneau Cover, Locking wheel nuts, Ford Mud Flaps, Bug deflector and bed liner. The MSP was over $46,000 and with options and destination tax it was just under $50,000 with the $2000 of options on it. Same engine and gears etc as yours. I paid $34,560 out the door including tax and plates and a full tank of gas. I also got back $890 from Ford for 3 biweekly payments back.

I would think depending where you live there is still money on the table..I went to two dealers here in town as well as another north of where I live and the other two would not touch the deal I got. So I know I did as good as I could in my area.

Good luck, you will love the truck as the 5.0 sounds great and the truck drives great.
