Default 2013 F-150 Backup camera

Hi, How can I tell if my 2013 xlt is prewired for a backup camera? I'd like to put one in and I don't know where to start.

I doubt it is, open the tailgate and you would see in the bottom middle of the tailgate/bed, a plug or wire loom. Wouldn't be hard to add though.

If you do not have camera from the factory, the wiring is not there, you will need to run your own.

Your best bet to start your research into installing a rear view camera is here: https://camera-source.com/automotive...rd-oe-fit.html

They are the closest to OEM that you can get and they stand behind their product.
