Default 2013 Ecoboost Owners

I posted this in the engine section a week back or so, doesn't seem like that section gets as much traffic, so thought I'd try here.

I know there are multiple threads on the inter cooler fix, and its tough to tell if the problems some are experiencing have been completely fixed with the new CAC design. Most of the reported problems seem to be on pre-13 models.

Thought it might be helpful to hear from '13 owners specifically who have the factory installed updated/latest CAC. Are the trucks running well? Any reported problems? How many miles?

Hoping for some positive reports...

I only have 400 miles on mine (10/26/12 build date) but no issues. I've driven 3 times in rain.

1500 miles no issues. I drove through pouring Houston T-Storm a week or so ago. Also in 80 degree 60-70% humidity a few days back. Again, no issues.

2013 Lariat 4x2 with Max Tow package. If I recall, mine had an October Build date.

9,100 miles. It's stupid. Two months old. Freaking business keeps me on the road a lot. Driven in rain several times. Pouring rain where you can hardly see the road lines. Not a problem to be seen or felt.

Last week drove to the San Francisco area from San Diego to work on a couple trailers for the Intuit Corp. Did about 80mph both directions. Got between 19 and 20 mpg for the trip.

Went to LA from SD on monday and kept the speed at 65, never over and when I got off the freeway I was at 27 mpg. Kind of surprised but very happy.

I bought the truck to get the mileage because of how much I drive. It's working.

Wow, 27 is great! Kind of surprised at that as well. I traveled from SD to LA every weekend for a couple years and driving south always gave me the better mpg's. Here's hoping that my upcoming new ecoboost will hook me up like that when I get to move back there.

Good stuff so far, hoping the trend holds as these trucks rack up more miles and are tested in a variety of environmental conditions.

DAC - nice pic

2013 F150 King Ranch Ecoboost 4x4 3.55

I've had her a Lil less than 6 weeks and am almost up to 6,000 miles, 5,967 to be exact. No engine problems, highest avg mpg I've seen was 26 and that was going 65. My life mpg is probably somewhere around 17 though. (40% city, 10% offroad, 40% highway, 10%hauling trailers) Lowest mpg seen was 7, but that was pulling a 10,000 lb boat @ 70mph. Not too shabby for a v6 gasser. Only problems I've had so far were the mft glitch. Which still hasn't been fixed and the double grab door handle, haven't took it on for that yet. Over all, love the truck!
