They are looking into the issue. Yeah they didn't do anything to the 6.0 till like 06. So that was 3 years. I'm sure there will be a fix soon. Has anyone had this problem happen more than once?

I've had it happen a total of three times. TWICE in one trip back from the deer lease.

My neighbor had it happen to his as well... I was in the truck when it happened.

All instances were in the PRIME conditions... rainy weather.

That sucks, my little 4.6 takes a beating and keeps on going! I would love the power and tourque but not worth it to have to deal with this.

I'm up to speed on the "cause" and attempted fixes. Definitely "perfect conditions" for this to happen based on what I read (40 degrees & 40 dew point in rain)

Build date on door sticker says 09/12 - doesn't say exact day, so I should ASSUME its BEFORE 9/18/12 - according to that "fix" link...cuz mine be broke!

We'll see what dealer says tomorrow...

Window sticker will have build date on it. Just curious. Mine was built
10-4. Will have to look at CAC on the new one compared to the traded truck.
