i wasnt going to replace i was going to only check them too
but for the little bit they cost .. replace them in case any of them are fouled or leaned out for anyreason ...
cheap protection and insurance to make sure they are all correct

and go with motorcraft OEM

i called a few performance places and that along with my buddy thats a ford tech recc'd

Did mine this weekend with ~12K miles. Broke almost all the connectors, so subsequent changes will be much quicker All my new spark plugs were gapped at .030 and the stock were all over the place on the couple I measured. Overall, it idles much smoother and picked up about .5-1 mpg.

I've used both. I didn't even think about my local auto places either lol.

Only 6 plugs keeps things cheap. May have a new project for tomorrow. Need to pick up a gap tool lol. Good thing they're like 50 cents

i agree had not done the mpg yet but accelerates MUCH better .. smoother...
going 180 mile trip tomorrow so ill set the cc and do the math and see what the screen says on mpg and see if they match

im expecting like some said 1-3 mpg ..
thats HUGE if you thik about it ..
ur going from 14-17...
17-20... its a good gain for 25 worth of plugs

you know guys you can KEEP your old plugs
they are good to 100k miles..

take them to a local guy that knows what hes doing .. or get a 10 sand blaster from harbor frieght and clean up the ones you take out .. keep them as spares... keep them for next tune up ..

Nothing wrong with my old ones except the inconsistent gaps. I bet if I gapped them to .030, I would have gotten the same results as the new ones.
