I understand that they would/should test new vehicles here and there for QC but over 100 miles on a vehicle that someone has ordered already? Why so many miles?

Because it isn't much of a test to go 25. Heck, 100 isn't much for a qc test

My Subaru STi went through the QC test too. Even came with a sheet with everything they inspected and small paint marker dots around the car. I actually thought it was cool that it was thoroughly inspected and combed over.

I would take a truck with 100 miles QC tested! This ensures all the little bugs are found and fixed before it left the factory and not have to go to dealer. Lol

Go buy a new truck and put 100 miles on it and bring it back to dealer, they wouldn't consider it new and offer you $5k less than when you bought it..

My 2013 King Ranch was a test vehicle and had 119 miles on it and also came with a letter saying it was randomly selected for test driving at the factory.
