Default 2013 Cab leaking water front passenger side

I bought my truck new back in October 2012. Up until now i have had my truck parked out of the weather and never really drove it in the rain. Here in Northern California were finally getting some much needed rain, but my truck seems to disagree with it. I have water leaking from my passenger grab handle which builds a puddle of water on the passenger floor board. I did see some previous posts back in 2010 of this happening possibly because of the sirius satellite radio antenna. I guess i must be figuring wrong that a problem like that would have been addressed by now? Has this been happing to anyone else with a 2013 FX4 to be exact? I am going to take it to the dealer on monday. It is still under warranty so hopefully this can be a quick and painless fix.

yea it most likely is one or the other (windshield, satellite antenna). Once I find out what the problem and fix is from the dealer I will come back with an update.

Bet you my pay-check it is the windshield!

My 2011 was exactly the same and they had to pull the windshield, was a small body seam that they "fixed" Replaced the windshield and then I had no issues.

Make sure you inspect the installation when they are done. The glue or whatever they use was VERY thick on mine and it was visible under the plastic when there were done. I didn't do anything about, just wanted my truck back, but I looked at it everytime I drove my truck.

Thanks for the heads up! This might be a dumb question but did you have your windshield tinted? I don't think that should effect it to leak, but I had my windshield tinted a few months back...

Had the same issue on my 12. Put a new windshield in still leaked. Took it back and they found a pinhole at the front of the drip rail. Filled it in and no more water. Good luck.
