That is the instructions to a T. I thought that too, but the instuctions point them that way and the body actually has it stamped into it as to which end is to be mounted down.

Sitting patiently waiting for the spacers that are supposed to be here today. Here are some more teasers. One from the side and a couple end shots for reference once the spacers are on.

Well, the spacers arrived at 9:28 PM and were on the truck as of 10:20 PM. Here are some pics of the spacers and I'll post some pics of the truck with them on tomorrow when there is light.

Agreed. I do like that idea, but not the $1,000. Eventually though, yes, eventually.
