first post here.. been on this forum for a while reading just never signed up. I have the sony system in my 2010 fx4 with the factory sub and I think it sounds pretty awesome. not calling anyone here a liar, but I get compliments all the time from friends that ride with me. the way people talk so bad about these systems, its got me wondering if someone has replaced the factory door speakers before I bought the truck. lol

2015 has same engine and transmission in the 5.0 & 3.5 EB as 2013-14. I'll be buying a 2015 I don't see the body breaking down.

I'll apologize in advance if I'm making an assumption, but your forum user name and description of that 2013 FX4 6.2 suggests your location is not North America? As noted in my sig line, I have a 2014 FX4 6.2 on special order, 'cus I've only found a few trucks in dealer inventory with that engine and not in Scab FX4 model trim in any case.

If my assumption is correct, it would be interesting to hear about your experience buying one there plus how popular Ford trucks are compared to other competing brands.

I would take the deal on the 2013. Sounds like you would be getting more options for a lot less money. 0 miles is 0 miles regardless of what model year it is. I personally like the looks of the current body style over the 2015 style anyway.

Good luck in your choice!

I wouldn't touch a '15 either - I'd be all over one!! Yep, I'd get a '15.

Sony system is fine. Bring an iPod with you and take a listen for yourself. I think it could use a little more bass, but that's a personal preference thing. I think if the deal is good that's a heck of a truck with a heck if an engine. Go for it! Good luck.

you don't have to apologize .. I actually live in Saudi Arabia (that'a why i said i don't care about the fuel efficiency.. i mean talk about cheap fuel!!)

and about the popularity .. ford trucks are actually really popular here .. i guess just not as much as GMC or Chevy's.. but still they are quite common ..(i'm talking about personal use..)
i'll talk more about my experience when i get mine .. just hope that stupid bank don't take too long with the paperwork cuz the offer ends in a week.. if it did i guess i'll bare the rav4 i'm currently driving till i find a good deal on 2014 maybe ..
