hello guys ..
i just got a really good deal from the official local ford dealer around here on a 2013 FX4
it's a 6.2l with the whole appearance and Equipment Group 402A packages

and it comes wit a good price and all but i'm having second thoughts whether i should buy it or wait for the 2015 model to come out
knowing that i don't really care about the fuel efficiency

and btw .. is the sony 700w sound system as bad as people say it is ?

.. i really need you're opinion on this and thanks..

I would take that 2013 in a heart beat. I wouldnt buy the first gen vehicle.as for the sony its ok.

If you are looking for a truck soon Id go with the 13. Sounds like the 15s will not be out until atleast late January. I have a 12 with the sony and yes its as bad as they say. I put kicker door speakers in my 11 and those 6x8s had as much base as the sony system.

First off, are you wanting the 6.2L??

Because if so, then you'd want to get the 2013 as the 6.2L engine is being dropped in the 2015 F150 Models.

I was in the same boat as you and decided on the 2014, because I wanted the 6.2L.

Haha he's not joking it's bad enough to make me add all new speakers and subs. I haven't done that for many years. I went with Polk audio and JL 8s. sounds great.
Grab the 6.2. Really wish I had that one. Price?????

I already contacted the bank for the buying order .. i'm just making sure it's the right choice i'm making here
and i'm not actually in such a rush, cuz i'll be traveling ,i'm just asking which one is better.
and about the sound system.. man that's a bummer cuz they don't have anything better

I wouldn't touch a 2015.

i know it's being dropped .. but on the other side the truck is getting Lighter so that should balance things up ..

Maybe it shouldn't matter in a truck, but I personally think the 2015 is very ugly. I care more about the exterior looks of the vehicle than the interior look, so the 2015 is a big step down in my opinion.

I also wouldn't want a first year, unproven vehicle.
