Okay. I've looked and looked. I do NOT have the remote start antenna. I'm a moron. I have a stock xlt and used forscan to turn on remote start. I finally figured out the diagrams posted to extend the wire to place the antenna in the headliner. Well, it's not there. I never ordered the 100 series kit. Just a key and enabled with forscan. So I guess I'll have to order the antenna.
Someone please tell me if I'm wrong, but I'm not seeing it anywhere.

Thanks, guys. Rnlcomp, your posts inspired me to do this from the link in the forscan thread to this one. My dumb *** just didn't pay enough attention to realize you added the remote start before you extended the antenna to the headliner. On to purchasing the antenna now!
Thanks again

For the guys who have done this mod, still liking it? The range on my trucks remote start sucks.

I don't know if it is that much better. It is probably worth it for the minimal cost but I wouldn't say it is amazing by any means. I can probably be 100 yards away max on a good day. When I installed it I think I got an additional 20 steps in my testing.

Thanks. For how cheap it is I am willing to try if I gain even a few feet.
