I've been out of the loop for a while.

Thanks for the pics. I will try that this weekend.

Thank you. I found one that kind of shows what to do.

Great, hope it works out! I wish they folded down like screws.

I must admit defeat. I can (barely) get my hand back there, but can't manage to pull that lever forward. Is there a secret?

I've seen that using a 12" flat head and putting it between the bottom cushion and back portion right around the latch anchor for car seat will release it.

I have yet to try but I think I'll attempt it this weekend to put my powered sub behind the seat.

It is tough to do. I just kept trying until I got it, after the first time, it's much easier. Get a long flat head screwdriver, stick it between the seat back and the bottom. Feel around for the square hook. When you find it, you need to feel around with the screwdriver, and in the center of the square hook there is a tab that you push with the screwdriver. The real trick is to get a grip on the seatback, so you can move it while pushing in the tab. The other issue you will probably run into is, when trying to put the seat back in, getting the top of the seat back into the tabs, while getting the bottom tabs aligned properly. Keep trying, you'll get it.

Removing the plastic behind the rear doors makes it easier to reach around the back if the seat.
