Default 2012 SCrew 5.0 L Exhaust

I'm sure someone has already covered this but I can't seem to find it. I have a 2012 SCrew, 5.0 L, 4x4 off road package, tow package, in green gem metallic that I am entertaining the idea of putting dual exhaust on. Talked to the dealer and he said Ford does not have a recommended manufacturer or model of dual exhaust mufflers for my vehicle. All I want is something that will have some soft "growl" at idle and will get a little louder when I get on the gas all while not having any significant drone whle cruising. Would like to stick with just a single in/dual out muffler to prevent voiding any warranties (it's brand new). Any recommendations from the gear heads? Again, not trying to wake up the neighborhood with this thing, just want it to sound a little more aggressive but not drive me crazy when cruising.

Please try to stick to the 5.0L engine when discussing your experiences. Not interested in what an Eco boost, or 5.4 sounds like since I don't have them.

get the Corsa dB. a little more agressive at idle, no drone, loud when wide open. I would personally do a si/so so you dont lose backpressure.

I have the corsa DB on my 5.4 and love it, absolutely no drone at cruising speed but when you get on it it sounds awesome. A lot of people have told me it sounds like a diesel at idle from outside the truck.

This is where I bought mine. They don't show one for 2012 but 2011 should be the same.

I have the same truck except a 2011 and it's red but I just had a magnaflow si/do 5x8x14 put on with duals 45'd behind the tires. For me it sounds perfect, sounds great when I start it and when I get on it but when I'm cruising it's just barely louder than stock. I had them do it all stainless so I won't have to worry about it.

Is that the only size that will fit our trucks or do the differing length's change the sound or performance? I noticed there is a 5x8x18 also available, what's the difference?

And what's the stock "inlet" pipe size? Not sure where to find that info.

Would the inlet be centered or offset?

Sorry for all the "simple" questions.

Additionally, have you had any issues with the muffler turning brown or rusting?

I was told the bigger the muffler the quieter the sound? I went with the 14" and left the resonator on. I believe the inlet is 3" and the dual out is 2.5" and a single out would be 3". As far as the centered or offset I think that's up to the installer. Mine is only about a month old so no rust yet.
