Default 2012 level and brush guard question

Hey y'all... I have a question for everyone. I know there are a million leveling kit threads, but I hadn't seen this posted yet. I have a 2012 Lariat Screw 4x4. I am wanting to level it and put 305/55/20 tires and get a Ranch Hand grille guard. My question is, my front end sits exactly 2 inches lower than the rear. I know a lot of people go with a 2" front level, but that will put me right at level, when in reality I still want a small rake.

That being said, I am going to get a ranch hand grill guard, adding a little weight to the front, so that'll bring the front down a little.

What size leveling kit would y'all suggest I do? 2" or 1.5"? Thanks in advance.

I have a 2.5 Autospring level and ranch hand and it sat .5-.75 inch high in the front. I put pro comp long add a leafs in the back and that put a .75-1 in rake in the back which is not noticeable. Plus I don't sag when I tow a trailer or have my bed loaded with stuff. Hope that helps....

Which Ranch hand? I measured before and after the install of the legend series. No difference. I have the legend series. Are you going full replacement on the front?

Nope, just the grille guard, no replacement. I don't want to do an AAL in the back. Just a level in the front.

I'd the to get the 2" and it have a nose high look.

2.5 puts its higher in the front but ranch hand does add some more weight to the front. Blocks brought it back up to sitting a little bit more like stock

I had the same predicament with mine. After doing tons of searching I came to the following conclusions:

Most 2" leveling kits and the Autospring 1.5" make the truck level. In my opinion a truck that is level looks nose high due to the size of the wheel wells.

Your only options to lift the truck and not look nose high are:
Readlift 1.5"- See link to it on my truck (1/2" rake) https://www.f150forum.com/f38/txag07...inning-191420/
Daystar budget boost
Any 2"+ with block/AAL to reach desired rake

Even If the lift says 1.5" level, you will get 2" or more unless the install involves clipping/shaving of the factory coil-over studs like the Readylift and Daystar require to provide room for the smaller spacer (1" or smaller actual spacer depth)

I hope this helps

Man your truck looks GREAT. What were your initial fender measurements? My rear is exactly 2 inches higher than the front.
