Default 2012 F150 Drivers Door lock issue

I've got a 2012 Super Cab with an issue with the drivers door unlocking. Door will not unlock with the FOB but will unlock and lock with the passenger door buttons. The weird part is that once I unlock the drivers door with the passenger button, the drivers door will then work with the FOB. Then the FOB will unlock and lock the door until the truck sits for an extended time like overnight. Then the FOB will not unlock it again. The truck has been parked for up to 4 hours and the FOB will still unlock the drivers door. Using the FOB when it doesn't unlock, I can hear clicking in the drivers door. Not sure if it's the actuator or something else. I would think if it was the actuator, the buttons would not unlock it. The FOB will unlock all other doors just not the drivers door.

I don't know if this will help, but first, I need to ask, did you check battery in your FOB?
Just food for thought

Remote control is in the BCM. If it works, they all ought to work. I can only imagine that you have some damage to the wire from the BCM to driver door so it is intermittent. The door hinge is a common place to have damaged wires, or at the switch connector (in the door) might make sense.
