TascaParts, Ford dealer, body shop.

I'd try Tasca first. Hope this helps!

It's not just the bumper, but a whole slew of brackets and bolts underneath...

Mine is still in the body shop from a front end collision so I decided to have them use an HD/Ltd bumper assembly instead for the replacement. It's almost complete.

That looks terrible. They should stop right now and send it to me. Jk. I'm so jelous. I want the insert but can't afford the whole assembly.

Ya, insert won't fit a "stock" bumper, unfortunately. I would not have paid full price for it myself, but since the collision required a whole new bumper AND brackets, I went ahead and had them use the HD/LTD bumper assembly. But for the past two weeks the shop has been supposedly getting the wrong bolts and now brackets from their local dealer supplier that don't work with the HD/LTD bumper so it just keeps getting delayed...

A Platinum grille MSRP's at almost $1,000.

I have no idea why these parts are so expensive, especially a bumper, which I assume would be something that gets replaced often due to the untold number of fender benders/collisions that occur every day.

Ya, I was thinking about that after my post, and by golly, if I was an accountant, I betcha I would come up with the idea of charging a pretty penny for the really "in demand" collision repair parts (such as bumpers) and what not...
