Default death of a ecoboost

water in cylinder from inter cooler motor only has 20000. inter cooler was changed out 100 miles with fords recall and modified to prevent water build up...

bad thing is will not see truck for a month due to ford 3.5l are on back order over 750 motors ahead of me...

How's the rod look? Or did the piston just crack? Are they for certain it hydro locked from water in the intercooler?

Covered under warranty I would imagine. Is the dealership at least giving you a good vehicle to drive until you get your truck back?

This can happen with ANY engine... In your case it could be coolant that could leak in and hydrolock and destroy an engine.
