I find that on a long trip if I don't move than the seat still stays cool, but not cold. If i move around on the seat once in a while the seat then gets cold. I think I am blocking most of the air flow when I'm sitting still, either way, they are way better than a non-cooled seat, they don't get hot and sticky.
