What sounds the best is entirely up to personal opinion.

We need info on what you are looking for out of it.....

How loud do you want it? Where do you want it to exit? Dual or single? Etc, etc

This is my old 2010:

Full magnaflow cat-back. Sounded good, loud, but not obnoxious like some systems. And you keep the spare tire.

Solo performance Mach X. Dual exit. No spare removal. No drone. Stainless. Awesome.

Anyone ever try a stock Mustang 5.0 exhaust swap? I think the 5.0 Stang sounds pretty nice stock.

That would be a 100% custom swap. Prob have more money in that than a full aftermarket setup.

Default 5.0L Borla

Not a dual exhaust, but its a Borla setup: sounds deep and aggressive without being obnoxious. A borla system would be my recommendation...

Custom 2 1/2" duals with H pipe no muffler, Y pipe replaces that, Nice and aggresive but not too loud and retains the spare. $380.00
