mine is 7/23/12 from the same. thought it might be the batch, but who knows.

Mine was a early model, November 2010, and mine did it. But as I posted earlier, it doesn't do it anymore. I even checked today.

You can't even here the injectors fron the passenger side wheel well. When your truck did it was it a light tick from that side??

Yes it was the same light tick on the passenger side as everyone else is hearing. Now I can't hear this tick anymore. I was going to say this earlier but I didn't but I added some fuel injector cleaner 2 oil changes ago. For some reason, I felt like this is when I started not noticing the tick anymore. Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not. I did just hit 20K miles so maybe you guys' just need some more miles on the truck?

2011 5.0 2/11 build. 18000 miles. Same noise as described. Passenger side rear of engine. Some days tick is more noticeable than others. I am glad to hear that I am not the only one with the issue. I often wonder if Ford knows what the issue is but had decided that it is cheaper to live with it vs. re-engineer something to fix it.

well, for the last few days, i have not heard it, so i think mine has gone away.

It will be back.... What ever it is it must not be a danger to the engine because most all have it..
