Default 2012 with 2018 wheels

After with 2018 stx 275/55/20 wheels and Dyna pro atm tire

Before with 275/70/18 nitto exo grapplers

I got what I considered a good deal on a set of 2018 takeoffs with new tires and decided to change since I needed a quieter highway tire now and less agressive tread. One note for anyone going to a OEM wheel 2015 newer is the lug nut size has changed. The 2011-2014 are m14x2.0 and the newer are m14x1.5 So far I have no issues with the TPMS showing a fault as I have read others having issues going to newer wheels. Thought I would post my results in case anyone else was considering making a change.
Edit: my TPMS fault came on today, not sure why it took 5 days. I read that someone disabled the fault using forscan so I'll investigate that. My other thought was maybe I could use my tuner to set the tire pressure to 0 and see if it would accept that value. I'll post back if I figure it out.

Thanks, after I put them on I started to second guess my choice but it's growing on me now.

I agree, big improvement. Those old wheels always look weird to me, like they are not as strong as others. I'm sure that's not the case being OEM, but the design just doesn't look right.

As far as lug nuts go, did you just end up reusing your factory 2012 ones?

Yes I reused as mentioned, the negative to reusing is the 2012 lug nuts stick out farther than the 2018 do. You can't tell from a few feet away but up close you will notice, not a huge deal but it doesn't look exactly like they do mounted on the 2018.
