Default 2012/2013+ Platinum, Lariat Grille help

Hey guys. I have a favor to ask. I am trying to figure out a better grille for my 2001 F350. Nothing on the aftermarket is tickling my fancy so I was brainstorming trying to cut the center section of a newer F150 grille to place it into the shell of my F350. The problem I am running into is measurements. So IF AT ALL POSSIBLE I would like to see if anyone with a 2013+ Lariat or Platinum, or even 2012 with the 6 bars, would be able to grab me a couple of measurements of their stock grill bars...just the middle bar sections, not the grille surround. I need a length and height of just the center bars...Thanks in advance for anyone willing to take a few minutes to help me out! These are the possible options I'm looking at:

I have a 2012 Lariat and just received my 6 bar billet grill which will replace whats in it now. I really like the 6 bar look and will install this week assuming I have time! It's a direct replacement so no cutting is required. I'll post up some pictures if you're interested after the install…………

can you take some height and width measurements of it for me as well? I am looking to Frankenstein a newer F150 grille into my 2001 Superduty grille shell. Thanks!

my platinum grill bars are about 11.5 inches top to bottom and ABOUT 42.5 inches long... the center bar is not as deep as the top and bottom ones so its a bit shorter

Thanks brotha! I gotta agree with Byte though...the different bar styles will probably have different width and depth measurements given the different spacing between them etc.

Thanks byte. I really like the platinum grilles...Kinda curious how the platinum grille bars are shorter, length wise, than the 6 bar ones... I would think the 6 bars would be shorter given the design of that grille with the mesh on each side of them.

Toddman are you measuring just the 6 bars or the entire inner section including the mesh on each side?

Thats the entire Opening, the 6 bars only would be nearly 6" Shorter closer to 38" for just the 6-bars!

What I was Sayin in my Previous post, is the opening is the same for all Trims, only the different bars lengths Vary... Thought that was EZ to follow, guess not! Lol...

Oh ok thanks. Ya what Im looking for are the measurements of the actual bars so I can see if they will fit in the empty space of my Superduty's grille shell. I guess we both misunderstood what the other was saying haha

Thanks again
