Default 2011 xlt center console to jump seat swap

I'm trading mine with someone who has the jump seat.anyone know if I have to also remove the metal mounting bracket that bolts on to the floor or can we just swap out consoles and keep our metal mounting brackets......need to ship this out 2maro. It looks like the 2 rear bolts for the mounting bracket to the floor is not threaded.my mounting bracket on the rear is mounted to the rear seat bolts. Guys that have the jump seat the 2 rear bolts mount inside the bracket just like the front 2. Please help.....
Thanks

Send your jump seat bolts with the seat to the new owner. There are two sets of holes on that bracket and it is aluminum and will thread itself, just make sure to screw them in straight. You then will need to pick up some new bolts to install the console into the other small non threaded holes.

Default 2011 Jump seat removal ?

Hi, I am removing the jump seat from my 2011 xl,and wanted to know if someone could tell me if there is some retaining clip or some trick to removing it after I have removed the 4 bolts to the floor. I unclippped the 12volt supply, but it feels like there is something else holding it down on the backside floor.

I am replacing the jump seat with a floor console from a 2008 xlt

Thanks for any help

Nope, shouldn't be. 4 bolts and 12 volt harness.

hmm, thats what I thought , I just don't want to force it if there was something else attached. I have put some good pressure on it and still won't budge.

It should pull stright up, mine did. I actually tilted the front to the back to reach in and disconnect the 12v harness then rotated it back then pulled straight up.

Default jump seat swap for center console

is any one interested in trading a center console for a jump seat? i will pay shipping and handling charges.

i recently bought a brand new 2011 f150 xlt with gray interior and am looking for any variation of the "silver/grey" center console. i have seen several different color combinations that will work for me.

i live in wisconsin. let me know if you have a console you may be wanting to swap out for a gray jump seat in excellent (brand new) condition.

thanks,
dale

Hi! Did you ever get that center console base out? I am stuck at the same place. 4 bolts out and lighter wiring undone, Now what? I've tried to pry it up but it feels really tight. Thanks.

Did you take the fold down cup holder on the back of the seat off ? There is 2 screws that hold that in place, take the screws out, pull out and unplug the power point, there is a short harness that goes down to the floor, it might be hanging up there. Good luck.
