2011 XLT to a 2013 FX4
So the last month I have been checking out different ford dealers here in South Georgia and found one today that was no hassle and traded my 2011 Screw 4x4 ecoboost for a 2013 Scab FX4 5.0L.
My ecoboost was great and didn't have any issues nor have anything against the V8s. The 5.0L has rebates and is cheaper than the ecoboost. Overall I just wanted a upgraded interior like nav, backup camera, leather and so on.
To the forum thanks for the great info. I have been watching what people are paying for there trucks and it helped at the dealer.

Yes! That is great. That one has leather, eh? I love real genuine leather, getting harder to find lately what with all this so called German leather mess that's just high falutin vinyl.

Looks really good. Congrats. I've noticed the additional discounting on the 5.0L. I MIGHT actually consider going with the 5.0 when I trade in. The mileage difference isn't much between the EB and 5.0. The extra premium on the EB which in my case is around $1300 could be spent towards extra goodies and the power loss woud only be about 5HP. I would lose some on the torque but I'm not planning on driving crazy and I don't tow squat.

I agree with you. The 5.0 was cheap and had a 500 dollar rebate. The Eco was an extra $1595. It has great power and love the v8 sound. I am perfectly happy even after having my Eco for two years. I use my truck more for hauling the boat or atv around versus pulling super heavy weights. The remote start is amazing!! I am interested to see how these hids work at night.

I'm sure you'll love the HID's. I want to get the 402A package that includes the HID's on my next truck. The stock halogens are pretty bad.
