Default 2011 platinum ecoboost 4x4, soon to have aero turbine muffler

I take delivery of my truck this week and as soon as my aero turbine 3030xl muffler arrives the truck will be getting it installed. I don't see many people doing exhaust on these either out of fear of ford or fear of ricer sound. I love the aero sound on my diesel as well as my dads trailblazer ss. I know those are completely different animals. I will post videos as well as gas mileage results. Wish me luck.

Had them on my hemi. Loved them. A bit pricey though for my taste anymore.

Luck!

Wanted to be in before the warranty police showed up and stole the fun.

Thanks, lol. I don't want to void my warranty but if a muffler does it so be it. I bought my dodge new in 05 I started modding at 1000 miles. I'm prepared to be my own warranty. I'm a fan of the aero sound and will post results.

I've never heard of them. Are they a flow through type muffler?

They are gimmicky, no better than any other free flowing muffler. It's personal choice and they do have a unique sound. But you can't argue with an Aero turbine muffler owner. That's like trying to reason with an Amsoil rep or someone who believes it's a good idea to dump Sea Foam down an engine (which is a solvent developed for Marine outboards btw).

I use seafoam in my garden equipment all the time. capfull or two to the gas seems to help offset the effects of this !@#$#~!@% gas we get now with 10% ethanol.
