I have a 2011 XLT 4x4 with 5.0. Truck has 160,000 miles. The reverse quit working a few days ago. Got in it and it just would not go into reverse. Seem to do ok in drive. I drove it to a well known transmission repair shop. He has had it for three days now. He told me yesterday that it was something electronic within the transmission. Talked to him again today and he said he still couldn't figure out exactly what it was. Wondering if any of you have ever had or heard of this problem and what it might be? Sensor maybe? Also, thinking maybe I should have taken it to the dealership. Any and all recommendations are appreciated.. Thanks
