2011 Leveling kit ?
Does anyone know if they make a 1" leveling kit for the 2011's?
I have seen a 1.5" but that is the shortest I have seen. I don't want to have to lift the back cause I take the front too high. Right now I am only sitting 1.75" higher in the back. Thank you in advance. |

Just ordered the Daystar 1" for $36.xx shipped from Performance 4 Trucks.

FYI, On the 2011 f-150, you must disconnect the battery before installing the leveling kit or you will damage your electronic steering. I learned this the hard way. When knocking off the ball joints, It shocks the electrical components on the steering which results in a clunking noise over speed bumps and pot holes at low speeds which is extremely annoying. There is also a clunking that is felt through the steering wheel. So if anyone plans on installing a leveling kit on a 2011 f-150, Disconnect the battery before starting the work to save yourself this problem. I haven't had mine repaired yet, so I don't know the cost of repairs yet. I sure it isn't going to be cheap though!!!

Is the Daystar kit a quality one? If not, is there a better 1" kit out there?

Bilsteins can get you an inch at the lowest setting I believe.
They are the way to go, I have them and love them. |
