I have the FX-R projectors with the bowls/reflector still chrome and there isn't any noticeable glare coming out of the light that I can see that would be considered annoying. Here's a night shot against my garage door with the FX-R and 35 Watt 4300k HIDS.




I thought the chrome bowls better matched the projector shroud and looked more OEM. I did tint the reflectors though.
