I'm sure not but a lot of it is I would think. Just was stating a preference on projectors.

I see retrofit source also sells hella too. Like that, have you ever heard of philips 85123 bulbs? Awesome light output very bright with the hints of blues and purples. Had a set in my Jetta before I traded it. Problem is they don't make them anymore so people don't know about them.

those look awesome!

is the MH1 a direct bolt-in/no cutting projector for this application? I did a MH1 retro in my 2011 Civic Si with 9006's and was able to knock the whole thing out in about 4 hours since I didn't have to trim a single thing.

and one more question, does it seem like your friend's truck puts out any glare since the reflector bowl wasn't painted?

Thanxs very much.

The MH1 requires grinding as well. Not nearly like the FX-R, but enough for the projector to be seated properly in order to get the large nut on the back tightened up enough to still be able to put the bulb retainer on.

No glare at all, subtle glow maybe!!!!
