Cooled seats
Universal garage door opener
Center arm rest in rear seat
Chrome / wood finishes (vs. black)
It's about $900 more for these features (all other things configured equal), and none are available on the FX4.

It also gives you the [option] of the 40-20-40 front seat, and column shifter, which allows six occupants.

^^^ Isn't chrome bumpers standard on the Lariat and painted bumpers standard on the FX4 as well?

Lariat (at least now) has 4Auto in the 4x4 configuration, the FX4 does not.

Me too. 402A "Luxury pkg" gives me everything except the rear heated seats and center console for the rear seats. I have the heated/cooled seats for the front.

I had the same questions as the O.P., and came to the conclusion that the real difference between the FX4 and the Lariat was the exterior chrome (grill, bumpers, etc.)

I hate chrome...
