Well- the title says it all- my mirror cap color is oxford white on dr- side

The passenger side matches- dealer said had to paint cap- couldnt get a factory colored matching replacement-

Is this true?

I cant see your truck well but is it just white and you have the oxford white cap on one side?

I think a few of the members have tried to find the caps, they come primered or chrome but no color matching ones

Will check my LL but I am pretty sure I would have noticed the mismatch. I have talked to my dealer about the shotty lines on the grill and the unpainted black clip marks on the wheel well fenders at the loser bolts. I still need to follow up on that but don't want to give up my truck for a week.

It is pretty hard to tell what color your truck is, but (as you already know) both caps should be color keyed to the body color of the truck. If your truck is white, your drivers side is correct. What color is on the passenger side?

As matt99 stated, they come primed, chrome or black (textured).

I agree- but my truck as all the LL's are tri color white metallic- the drivers door side mirrior cap is plain white- and the passenger door is tri.. just like the rest of the truck-

I wanted the dealer to just order me a new cap painted from factory-but they want to paint the one I have to match --AT THEIR COST- NO COST TO ME

I wanted to make sure there is no repl. avlbe. before the paint

I would find out if there is another LL on their lot and have them use one off of there. I would also suspect that the Oxford cap you have was due to a similar swap with another Oxford truck. Just think there could be an Oxford White 150 out there with a tri-coat cap.
