2011 Lariat limited, grill chipping, anyone else?
#23
Good morning everybody,
My 2011 Lariat Limited only has 500 miles and the black paint is starting to chip away from the front grill. I am also questioning FORD for their reasoning on something that is the front line of the vehicle that obviously will be hit by all elements (wind, sun, ice, rain)plus when vehicle is in motion at speeds 0-76 miles per hour small pebbles, gravel etc are like small bb's and more than likely are going to end up in the front grill. Ford ends up spray painting the front grill with unmatched plastic color, obvious mistake on behalf of Ford. Also I noticed some other flaws in the truck that does not match the huge sticker price of the vehicle.
Regards

I got an 11 xlt sc 3.5l, just realized their is a 21" x 6" hole in the front of truck 18" off the ground.......Right in line with the Turbo inter-cooler. Perfect for small dogs/cats/ large birds / rocks / road trash ect to punch a hole in it. No screen or grill to protect it, I guess I'm not supposed to drive behind anyone on a dirt road either.
Wait till your grill starts falling apart.
