I just got my 2011 FX4 ecoboost truck a few weeks ago and I LOVE IT! Beautiful interior, well crafted engine but there is a problem when it gets dark. The headlights look badass but are so big that they diffuse the light to the point where night driving becomes annoying from lack of "brightness"

What would be the best way to resolve this issue?
Should I buy a better halogen bulb if there is any or should I go ahead and spend the money and a get a HID retrofit?

Hids, try ddm tuning. We have h13 bixenon bulbs. 6000k is what I use...nice color vs light output

 

4300k would be for the best light output. Most usable light, thats what the bmw's use acuras ect ect.

 

No problem with these headlights we sell with the HID upgrade.
