Default 2011 FX4 Screw 5.0 Magnaflow

Looking for some info. I want to swap the stock muffler for a magnaflow and put a black tip on. I call magnaflow and they can't tell me what muffler will fit my truck?!?! The guys says just order the one you want and make it fit? Isn't there one available that fits the current pipes? Just looking to do a cut and swap for sound only. Any help would be great.

I know this reply might be a little late, but I'm running a Magnaflow #12249 with 3" pipe from the y-pipe back, and a 4" Magnaflow tip that I painted black with VHT header paint... I LOVE the sound. It is deep and not too crazy Loud, but still makes everyone look! Drone isn't too bad, but still a little bit there. I personally love it.

Edit: I have since had the pipe moved down and slightly away from the body. And your best bet would probably be to run new pipe from the y-pipe back. It only cost me about 300 for everything at local exhaust places.

Thanks for the info. I don't think I want to remove the resonator because of drone. I'm going to my shop tomorrow so we can look at it and go from there.

I'm going to try the same thing, leave the resonator and put in the 12249.

I have a 12249 with no resonator and I really like the sound but the drone at 65-75 mph drives me nuts.
