2011 FX4 Passenger Mirror MELTED!
So are we saying that if you have heated mirrors, that you also have rear defrost? Cause I don't think I have rear defrost, but I know I have heated mirrors and it's controlled by a dash switch. Probably this one switch is shared if you have both defrosts.

New mirror assembly is on order and being painted/installed at Ford's expense 
. They said it was defective and under warranty as I had predicted. Too bad not everyone has had such luck, they should take better care of the customer.

Not Important Enough
I have both mirror and rear defrost and they both are contolled from the same switch
