I have a question regarding the Electronic Locking Diff. On the LCD screen in the dash is says that the ELD can be shifted on the fly when in 4x2, 4x4H, and 4x4L. (Truck Apps Menu -> Screen showing degree of tilt -> press 'ok' for options -> Select ELD)

On my truck the I can engage the ELD in 4x4 H and L, but the switch will not pull out in 4x2 mode.

Is the switch made wrong, is the info in the LCD display wrong, or is there another option that I don't have that allows it to work in 4x2 mode?

I have a 2011 FX4 Screw, ecoboost, Leather, Nav, Roof.... etc.

 

No you can only pull the switch for ELD in 4x4 HI/LO

 

look up the thread that modifies the transfercase control module to allow the ELD to lock in 2wd by using a raptor control module and switch. can remember the name of it right now.

its a plug n play mod tho.
