But like I said earlier, this method does not work when initializing texts. Only replying.

Yes, please post a video. I have a 2011 FX4. If I get a text, I push ok, the "nice lady" reads me the text, I push ok again and on the screen comes REPLY TEXT, I push ok again and she says this cannot be done WHILE DRIVING. Are you actually doing this while driving? Not parked?

Just pulled this from the Syncmyride website. Mine does not do this....

A soft tone alerts you to an incoming text message and a notification displays on your 8-inch touchscreen.
2Press or pull the Voice button and say, "Listen to text message."
3SYNC will read the message aloud.
4When you want to reply to a text message, press or pull the Voice button and say, "Reply to text message."
5SYNC displays a list of 15 preset-messages on the touchscreen and will ask you to pick one to send.
6Reply with the number of the message you wish to send—for example, "Line 2."
1. I'll call you back in a few minutes.
2. I just left, I'll be there soon.
3. Can you give me a call?
4. I'm on my way.
5. I'm running a few minutes late.
6. I'm ahead of schedule, so I'll be there early.
7. I'm outside.
8. I'll call you when I get there.
9. OK
10. Yes
11. No
12. Thanks
13. Stuck in traffic.
14. Call me later.
15. LOL
7SYNC will ask you to confirm your selection. Reply, "Yes," "No," or "Cancel."

Okay, so I was trying to video this and my kid says: "Whatcha doin dad?" I reply, "Trying to get this camera to work." She says, "That thing hasn't worked since sister dropped it on the floor." Great....
Anywhoo, I figured out why I can reply to texts by voice, it's not through sync at all. The voice that my phone uses is very close to the one used by sync, and as I only get a handful of messages I didn't pick up on it until I was messing with it. I have a Nokia Lumia 900 with WP7.5 installed, so I don't know if all WP phones do this or not, but mine does. Sorry for the confusion.
