You guys think it could be due to the fact that it is C.A.R.B legal? That is very surprising.....

It's probable because roush keeps the factory warranty. I know if I would go with a roush kit on my car it would keep the 3/36 warranty.

Some of these kits do not keep the factory warranty but offer great gains. I know the cams, pistons and tunes are different between the mustang 5.0 vs f150 5.0 but they should get more than 50hp out of the f150 5.0.

Mustang 5.0 at 575hp Roush charged.

Mustang 5.0 at 650hp No warranty. Roush charged.

F150 5.0 at 515hp, 3/36k factory warranty still applicable. Roush charged.

F150 5.0 at 700+hp No factory warranty options. Roush charged.

I am a member on "the mustang source" but I rarely visit because I never found a good place to hangout.

I do have quite a few videos and pictures. I've bought a few thing off your site as well.

Looking forward to reading it. Warranty depends alot on the dealership, My Father had his 2011 6.2 Platinum Whipple charged by Venom and it maintains the warranty, Will be going to Livernois for "proper" tuning and dyno time. I have been holding off charging my 5.0 FX4 in anticipation of what Livernois will do with his truck. I am not impressed with it now and he just got it back from Venom again. I finally talked him into taking it to Dearborn to make it right, I'm sure it will come back running great but I am waiting to find out.
