There was a post on this site I saw on here the other day that showed a small metal latch behind the seatbacks...don't recall the titile of the post. The post said to raise the bottom seat which will give you some space between the seatbacks and the truck. Look for a small metal latch on the side that they said can be a little difficult to reach. Hope this helps.

I did a search and found this: https://www.f150forum.com/f38/rear-s...tch-pic-66809/

+1 on that above post about the latch, and for the 2011 it's easy to pull once you find it. I used needle nose pliers, want hard at all. My ex girlfriend's '10 however were a colossal pain in the *** to pull out, I hated her back seats

Once you have found the latch and folded the seat down put a tie wrap around it and tuck end under headrest. Easy to unlatch from then on. Your looking for a pin to pull up on to unlatch. I used the box end of a wrench to slip over the pin.

I located the latches but wasn't able to unlatch although I didn't try very hard. I do have a question...what are the straps (rubberbanned) behind the back head rests? Thanks.
