Ohh I read about having to grind off 1/8" from the studs, glad I didn't install I guess.

The 1" Daystar does look like a 2" kit. Level's the truck nicely!

Yup, EPAS is expensive to replace.

How hard was the instsll? What tools do i need snd What actually does disconnecting the battery do or pretect

I have the 1" level kit in my garage now too. And it's 1.25"s thick. This makes me wonder about the kit and why it's advertised as a 1" lift when it provides 2"s....

If the damn bilstein's weren't so hrad to come by, I'd just get those.

Why do you need to grind the studs ????? My 2010 XL 4x4 now has an AS 2.5" level kit. It measures 1 5/8" thick = 2.5" lift due to suspension geometry. (strut position in relation to outer splindle) There was no grinding or cutting. Very simple install, did it in the driveway in about an hour, with basic hand and air tools.
