Default 2011+ 9.75 axle dimemsions

I am looking for the width between the spring perches/mount on the 9.75 rear axle? Ive searched the various forums cant find the dimensions. I have a 2015 with the the new 8.8 and want to swap the rear axle so i can have locker options. 11-14 rear axles are easier to come by as well as half the price as a 15+ axle.

I paid 12 bills for a 16’ 9.75 axle when I did my swap. What kind of prices are you finding? Anyway to answer your question, it will be the same EXACT distance as the spring perches are set on your 8.8 ... right? (No sarcasm, just trying to help!)

Im seeing1800-2500 canadian but i see 11-14 axles sometimes under 1000.

if your saying the mounting points are the same width then ill start looking the rest of it will be easy as i was not wanting to rotate or move/weld the spring perches. Im meaning the width of a 11-14 axle vs 15+ i am not sure if the frame width changed. I know my 15 8.8’and a 15 9.75 are the same width.

ok I might have misunderstood. You are wanting the spring perch dimension on 11-14 axles right? It may or may not be the same but I know for a fact that the spring perch in 11-14 only has one centering hole for the leaf spring, the 15+ Axles have 2 holes. Unless you cut the perches off the 8.8 and weld them to the older gen axles, things wont fit. I don’t know if you are close to Michigan or not but there are some good Junkyard’s over there for 15+ parts. Hopefully I answered your question.

I can’t reply my outbox is full. I had the locker wired up for a short while. Then I read on another thread that it recieves a pulsed signal so it’s all apart now. I’m not really sure how to proceed, it’s sorta on the back burner for now. Maybe someone has come up with a solution to this?
