If you'd go to the trouble to lemon law this truck, why on earth would you turn around and buy another one knowing it's happening on all of them?

1. After driving an F150 EcoBoost, there is nothing else
2. New truck, may not have the problem
3. New truck, another 1 year / 12,000 miles to solve the problem or I will do it all over again and get another F150 EcoBoost
4. I really like my truck, but will not be stuck with it if they can't fix it
Overall, I'm sure you figured out I really like my truck and I think the EcoBoost is an amazing little engine. I have driven the competition and there is no comparison. Maybe GM, Fiat, Toyota, or Nissan will come out with something new soon, but until then none of them will hold a candle to the F150 EcoBoost.

So far, I think BobMac might be the only 5.0L with an engine misfire detected. Not 100% sure on that. Perhaps people are confusing the misfire with a slight transmission shutter? If more 5.0L's have had an engine misfire pick up on the ford diagnostics laptop, please post it here.
6.2 exact same misfire/shudder symptoms as BobMac. It has to be a transmission problem, I even have a different transfer case. I can't take this miss anymore, ready to go to a GM.

The OASIS message finally gave me enough info to feel equipped to take my 2011 Ecoboost F150 into the dealer to have this issue investigated this morning. I first noticed the problem starting early last fall. It has always be very sporadic--can't guarantee it will happen on any given day.
I took a tech for a test drive. He hooked up a computer and monitored my truck during the drive. Unfortunately, only a minor hiccup happened on one of the hills. The minor hiccup was very minor compared to what happens some days. On the positive side, the tech did notice on his computer that the wastegate fluttered during that one hiccup. So, I guess I got minor conformation--I was hoping for more. I told him about the OASIS message and he said he would investigate. No answers for today, I didn't expect any. I just wanted my truck registered as having the issue.

My one concern with the TSB 12-2-10 vs the OASIS 22225 message, is that my issue meets the description in the TSB "Intermittent engine surge during moderate to light
loads at cruise" but the TSB requires a trouble code be tripped, which I don't have. Whereas the OASIS message describes "an intermittant stumble and/or misfire on hard acceleration," but doesn't require a trouble code. I don't have a trouble code, but my issue is definitely while under light load, not heavy acceleration. ???

Did you notice any improvement after the reflash? I just got off the phone with the tech and he agreed to do the TSB reflash (said it couldn't hurt anything and it "may" help but no guarantees) on Monday. My ecoboost is the first one they have had with this issue at my local dealer (Bellevue, WA).

My truck goes in for the 12-2-10 re-flash friday, can someone tell me if the Oasis message is the same or something different? Where can I find this message except from the dealer? Please post it. Thanks
