Here is the interesting part. I mentioned this website and that we were collecting information to make a database of the affected trucks to help Ford. Once she heard the website name she said Ford DOES INDEED MONITOR THIS FORUM and collects information from it. She was interested in the database and is going to forward my information to someone to get a hold of me regarding it. I was very specific on the website and where the threads are containing the information with this and other issues plaguing out trucks.
In case you live under a rock, here is the sticky for the database, please read the OP CAREFULLY before posting. Thank you.

So, as mentioned before. Please post your information if it applies to you. If you know someone, have them join, or post it for them. By not taking our trucks in, calling Ford customer care and sharing information here we are our own worst enemy.

Went in on Monday and had the TSB done along with squeak in the dash looked at. No problem getting it flashed, just stated that I had a shudder/misfire at 55-65.
I haven't driven my regular route where it would happen every time, but I will report back. Luckily I haven't had the 5MPH shudder, we'll see when I hook up my travel trailer, fingers crossed.

I am on trip number three to the dealer with my 2012. I had the TSB flash applied and it wasn't as bad for about a week. Now as the transmission "learns" its back to its old habits. It still bucks and hesitates in 6th gear starting at around 1500 RPM's at 55-65 mph, when lugging it up a hill.

After reading your response from the Ford customer care rep I am now leaning towards Lemon Lawing this vehicle. Ford knows this is a major issue and for her to say it has been escalated is a method used by customer service to make you feel better. Anything that cost them money in warranty, not to the mention the time their dealers are spending on this issue is getting top attention I assure you! What is even more depressing is they have some of the smartest engineers working on this and they can't come up with a fix as this is not a new issue. I believe it is mechanical not an issue that can be fixed with software. It is all about money and I am sure a mechanical fix for a improperly designed turbo, TC, etc is not in the budget.

Unfortunately I felt the same way when I read BucketMan's post about the Ford rep. She told him everything he wanted to hear, but in the end she told him nothing. If Ford does monitor this site so closely, and they are indeed working on a fix (for over 2 years now?), then why would they have to contact BucketMan for info about the database which is on here for all to see? Why would this need to be escalated now? If they've been working on a fix, then that means they know what the problem is and they wouldn't need a database. It sure feels like they know these issues affect a small percentage of the owners, and they are releasing bandaids to mask the problems because a PCM reflash is cheap and easy. They are already in test phases for the new model F150, and they hope all these problems will fall out of focus when they release that platform in a year or two.
Having said that, Ford isn't the only one with shudder problems. Chevy and Dodge have similar problems. Part of it stems from the smoother, quieter trucks these days that make it easy to sense any little anomaly. I can think of some of the older models from the 70's and 80's that were full of clunks, shudders, and vibrations, but we never thought anything of that. They were trucks and that was expected.
