Tech said he tried all the suggestions from Ford engineering, and it is now back in their hands. They haven't given the dealership the new software yet. Bob_Mac, did they have to request this special for you, or already had it handy?

EDIT - Also the issue seems to be related to one bank of cylinders. Not sure if this was the same cause you had BobMac

Are there reports of 6.2 powered F150s with this condition, also?

I wonder if it makes that shuddering sound when in manual. With the tranny locked in.

I stood in the garage with a friend of mine who balanced the tires so I know they were balanced correctly. I have printed out some of the information that Bob_Mac has posted and will be taking it to my dealer next week for my appointment.
I've got the 20" wheels wrapped in Pirelli Scorpions. I've never had a tire that size before so I wasn't sure if the smaller sidewall was causing the harsh ride or not. I plan on installing some 18" Blizzaks on steels in a couple weeks, just gotta put some more $$$ in the bank first. I've got about 1000 miles of commuting coming up in the next couple days so I'll pay attention for the shudder this time.

FWIW I drove the last half of my ride home from work today in 5th gear and didn't have any shuddering. On a normal ride it's constant as my ride home is uphill and ride to work is mostly downhill.

Yes it was with the passenger side bank and yes, they had to contact the engineers on the tech hotline.

Got the truck back today. They did find a misfire on #6 using the mode 6 procedure and went through the same clearing procedure that Bob_Mac posted in the first post. First thoughts are it seems to run better for sure. My second issue was for a shudder the truck does when I come to a complete stop. The dealer did said there was a program update for the tranny so they loaded that up. The shudder is still not completely gone but seems to be going in the right direction.

I don't have paperwork at this time to report any numbers of procedures as the dealer is leaving my work-order open as they want me to a couple hundred miles on it so I can report back to them if things are better for one or both issues.

Your shudder is different than the 55-60mph in 6th gear up an incline so your shudder may be an entirely different fix. At least your truck is running better after the misfire clearing...

I have yet to see the shudder come back so my hope is that this was indeed the fix, one thing to note though is I had the high solenoids replaced and an update on my tranny which did help a lot with the shudder. Waiting on others to report on their dealers findings/resolutions.
