I think the 5.0 shudder is totally different than the 3.5. But described the same in words on here.

Whether it is the final fix or not, it shows that Ford is responsive and does make the effort to make sure everything is right. Obviously I hope its the final fix but if its not, I still have faith that they'll keep at it until it's right. I know some of you are frustrated but you can't expect a company as large as Ford to keep every customer in the loop 100% of the way. Some of this stuff has to happen behind closed doors and you have to keep the faith. Once they have definitively let you/us down (ehmmm cough cough, GM, cough cough) then you have every right to pursue alternative action but until then, you have to give them the chance to sink or swim.

Cool!

My truck is/has been in the shop for about 8 or 9 days now for this and about 6 other things. I just called and notified them of this and they has no idea is was out, which is not surprising.

The service manager said he would forward this on to the tech. that is working on my truck.

We'll see what happens!

Makes sense they would actually come out with this 1 week after I trade in the lemon, haha. Anxiously awaiting the results, and hoping it fixes the issues for you guys!
