Will do; at this point I'm at least confident that the dealership will give actual troubleshooting a good try. That's all I want. I'll post updates as I get them.

UPDATE:

Dealership called this afternoon. When they went to replace the valve separator plate I guess they realized the entire valve body needed to be replaced; so they are replacing that, as well as the lumbar support for the driver's side seat.

Quite confident that it will resolve all the issues; and even if it does not, I'm confident that they are doing their best to fix the issues at hand.

On a somewhat-related note, if your dealership gives you a loaner car, make sure it has license plates. Cops don't like it when they don't have plates. Ask me how I know. LOL

I'm glad to hear that your dealer's taking such great care of you, Kung! Please let me know how the repairs go; I'll be here to help.

Will do. The only issue I have now is the fact that it's taken so long to get it fixed. (And half of THAT is simply the fact that I want my truck back!
LOL)

I wouldn't have thought it would take 7 business days (last Friday, this week, and next Monday/Tuesday) to fix a valve body/separator plate and a lumbar assembly.

With that being said, I'd rather it be done right than done quickly, so meh.

I completely understand, Kung; I don't blame you for wanting your truck back! I'll be on the lookout for any updates from you.

I wish Ford would officially put something out about this for their techs to look at when someone brings their vehicle in instead of just looking for codes and saying nothing wrong.

Ok, was told last Thursday, I think it was, that it would 'possibly be done Monday, definitely Tuesday.'

I spoke to the service department a few minutes ago, and the valve body is still not in. Now I'm starting to get a bit upset; brought it in the 20th of March, and 11 days later it's still not complete.

Supposedly their tech is going to call later on with a definite ETA.

Please let me know what they say, Kung; I understand why you'd feel frustrated. With the O.K. from you, I'll get a part delay escalation started for your regional customer service manager to review; all I'll need is a PM with your full name, VIN, servicing dealership, updated mileage, and best daytime contact number.

Well, I'll give them a chance; if I don't hear squat by the end of the day I'll PM you with that info. If they do call with hard info I'll let it ride and see what happens.
