My 2011 ecoboost had the 55-60mph shudder/miss at around 10,000 miles. It did not matter what weather conditions were rain or shine, 20 or 70 degrees. Took it to dealer about 3 weeks ago codes P0304 and P0305 were present. They ordered parts and replaced tues. this week. Got new intercooler part#BL3Z-6K775B, deflector part#CL3Z-19E672-A , and 4 pins part#W711281-S300.

It was shuddering/missing every day before, but since they replaced these parts it has ran perfect. Hopefully took care of it.

Sounds more like a waste gate issue instead of BOV.

Or a loose connection from the dealer replacing the CAC. I'd check all the hose clamps.

I mean't wastegate...was in a hurry. And it has done this since before the new CAC. Right after the new CAC ran great 4 days and same with after putting plugs in, so I doubt its a connection. I looked around when I did plugs and didn't notice anything out of place. Seems like something else to me...programming.

I've had the same parts replaced and my truck runs perfectly. I'm just going to drive my truck and enjoy it, instead of trying to pinpoint problems with it. Every vehicle has some issues....... our F150's are pretty much awesome.

Yah, they're pretty awsome, when they aren't trying to kill you!

I'm new to the forum and I did not read through all 250+ pages but have any of you also felt a shudder from a complete stop til
About 7mph and again from about 7mph down to 0 before having this issue at 50-60mph? I'm having the shudder issue from a dead stop and wonder if it's a stuck BOV or waste gate. I'll be on a long trip tomorrow so I'll have time to notice if my EB does this after cruising for a while. Does anyone hear their turbo's spool when they try to accelerate while this 60mph shudder is happening?

That is a completely different issue, that one from a stop is associated with drive shaft angle, search it. And for your last question...everyones truck spools the turbos when accelerating from 60 mph...pretty much impossible to accelerate from 60 mph without doing so...guess maybe I don't understand the question.

Sorry for the confusion I was just asking about the other issue from a stop AND having this issue. I have the shudder from a stop issue but haven't had my EB long enough to experience the issue from this thread. I was asking if,while having this 50-60 mphahudder do you guys hear the turbos spool when acceleration from a cruising state? Since the waste gate is before the turbo. I'm not too familiar with this particular issue was just trying to get some insight. I'll be doing a 12hr drive and I'm kind of anticipating/preparing if it does happen.

Sorry still don't get it...if adding throttle at 60 mph the turbos will spool, regardless if you have the issue discussed in this thread or not. There are two issues discussed in this thread, one is a shudder on is an actual misfire. Both happen when a load is added.

The fix for the shudder accelerating from a stop is to have the dealer attempt to shim the drive shaft to change the angle. Unfortunately when they do that they could potentially just change where the shudder occurs. I didn't have them mess with mine fearing this or them making it worse. I just live with it.

If you are asking if the issue from a stop and the shudder are caused by the same thing...I don't think there is a clear answer on that. But the actual shudder at 60 mph doesn't appear to be associated with the turbos if thats what you are asking. The misfire issue can be heard as the turbos cut in and out repeatedly.
