2011+ 55-60mph 5.0 Shuddering and EcoBoost Engine Miss/Loss of Power - Possible Fixes

Because they took a 4R70 case, shrunk the internals, jammed 6 gears worth of crap in it and called it a 6R80. Same TC between the two. My opinion is the TC likes it's torque at higher RPM's and is locking/unlocking at the lower RPM / high torque created by the ecoboost. Hence why they are de-tuning our engines in hopes of dropping some of the low RPM torque load. But they still can't come up with a trans shift mapping that will give us our economy and power that we paid for. So, they're scratching their heads and thinking "well, we can just keep clearing the KAM and doing subtle changes, ala bandaids, to keep the EPA and customers off our backs until warranties start to expire".
Now, I know some with the 5.0 are having this issue as well. But, I think they are experiencing a similar sensation caused by a different problem. Riding in a friends 5.0 F150 I can tell you the shudders feel different.
Other platforms use the 6R80 and don't have issues. Those platforms also don't produce the amount of torque the Ecoboost does at such low RPM's. This is my theory. I've said it before and I'm sticking with it.

I'd sure like to know why my shudder either goes away or is almost non-existent when the KAM is cleared, but gradually comes back over the course of 5k miles while the transmission re-learns.

Will someone be willing to try driving around in tow haul mode a few weeks and reporting if that moves the truck out of the shudder range?
Tow haul mode seems similar in upshifts to how the truck responds after the dealer resets the transmission computer into learning mode.

Why would an 8 speed be better? I hate the 6 speed in my 5.0. I use the manual shifting a lot to keep the truck from going into 6th because it seems like the truck can't wait to get into 6th gear. And unless I'm cruising on an interstate I hate 6th gear. Truck seems to lack power.
