Oh I don't know for sure but, some of us just have a hard time seeing our country deteriorate, and devolve right before our eyes into a socialist society. Something I'd have thought would never happen just 10-15 years ago, ie, constitution gutted, socialized medicine, a self avowed communist appointed to a job in the White House (Van Jones), a government with wildly out of control spending etc. A place, I'm extremely fearful, my grandkids will not have any chance what so ever of succeeding in, unless being on the government dole is considered successful.

While everyone is entitled to their own political views and freedom of speech it would be detrimental to readers of this thread to have to sift through posts not pertaining to the issue we are all having. Which is with our trucks not what our government is doing. I'm sure there are other forums to project your personal political thoughts on the web...as well as the Off Topic section within this forum...lets keep this thread about the truck.

Good point. Folks (renovatedspaces) shouldn't be asking questions they don't want answered, cuz on any forum you'll be getting an answer!

What I find interesting about the surging problem, is the throttle position and fuel pressure are oscillating along with the boost pressure. Is this an effect from the boost dropping, or is this what is causing the boost to drop? The surging problem is a daily occurance for me now that the weather has dropped below 40°F.

That is a fine chart. It clearly shows what all of us who have the shudder are feeling. Makes me wonder if Ford has the same chart somewhere and a bunch of engineers are sitting around it scratching their heads.

Dunno about their heads anymore. Probably resorted to scratching some "other things" it seems!
