Thanks in advance.
There is a sticky with 17 pages of trucks that exhibit some sort of shudder / loss of power problem.

Print that thing off, im sure your attorney would love that.

2 Questions:

1) My 2012 Ecoboost is running fine. No issues. Should I ask for the new Intercooler or leave well enough alone.

2) Would Ford even do this since I have no symptoms?

T'were I you I wouldn't let them touch it! I've not taken mine in for any of the "fixes" listed on this tread. I've sat back and watched as fix after fix has come down the pike and have waited to see if anyone here has gotten relief. Almost all the ones who have tried the miriad of fixes had no resolution to our problem and I'm deathly affraid they'll make things worse with their guesses on a fix. I've even stopped taking mine in for service at the Ford dealer for fear they might try some sort of reflash without me knowing about it and really messing stuff up. Unless something really blows up while under warrenty, I have all service done elsewhere.

I took my truck in for the TSB today. Also having the rear camera replaced. I have a 2012 RAM Hemi for a rental/loaner. I can't believe the difference in the back seat space and comfort. Not good. Well see after a couple days what I think of it while mine is in the shop.

9000 miles on my new dodge already. No problems to report. No steering issues and no shutter. The dodge just works and does what its supposed to do.

Glad to hear it. But, it's like I said, most on here have done the TSB's and have had either no difference, or had the problem return after the truck went thru the relearn process. Until they have a fix that works for 100% of the trucks out there, they aren't going to experiment on mine.
Hope yours is one of 'em that will see no more problems. Good luck.
